OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. As technology advances and cars become more complex with time, cars become more difficult to repair as there are many things to consider such as proximity sensors and autopilot systems. This leads to many incorrect repairs done on vehicles that can immediately or later impair the safety features or overall durability of the car. This is why manufacturers have certification programs that prove a collision center’s ability to repair a vehicle using approved equipment, repair methods, and parts. Only 10% of all body shops nationwide have an OEM certificate. As we strive to perfect our craft, we are training our technicians and staff year round to obtain more OEM certifications as a representation of our elite repair methods to all vehicles and vehicle brands.
